Steven Bankler is the founder of Bankler Advisory Services, LLP, which was established in 2001. He currently holds the Series 24 license (General Securities Registered Principal), Series 66 license (Registered Agent and Investment Advisor), Series 7 license (General Securities Representative), Series 79 license (Investment Banking Representative), the Texas Life and Health Insurance License and is registered in several states. He received a Bachelor of Business Arts Degree with a major in finance in 1969 from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. He has been a CPA since 1977, and attained the certification of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) in 2002.
Steven currently is a member of the AICPA and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Gina Valorz has been a member of Bankler Advisory Services, LLP since the firm was established in 2001. Gina currently holds the Series 66 license (Registered Agent and Investment Advisor), the Series 7 license (General Securities Representative), and the Texas Life and Health Insurance License. Receiving her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in accounting in 1990 from the University of Texas at San Antonio, she has been a CPA since 1993, and attained the certification of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) in 2009.
Gina currently is a member of the AICPA, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
*Currently, the requirements for a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) are: (1) CPA in good standing (2) have 3,000 hours of personal financial planning business experience (3)have completed 80 hours of personal financial planning CPE credits (4) have passed a comprehensive financial planning exam and (5) be a member of the AICPA in good standing. In addition, the PFS credential holder must complete 60 hours of financial planning CPE every three years. Approximately 5,000 CPAs have received this credential.
